Apache and SSL

I just had a request set up Apache with SSL on Solaris 8. I know next to nothing about Apache
nor a web server for that matter.

I've figured out how to get things started but am unable to figure out how to get it running
with SSL.

Can some one clue me in on what is needed? If possible I'd prefer to stick with the installed
version and all it's pros and cons.
