Solaris 8 (x86) Optimize

Anyone knows of any other "to do" for Solaris x86 to optimize for
performance? i.e. enable the ata-dma after installation. I'm looking for
specific Solaris 8 x86 "to do" _NOT_ Solaris optimization in general
(not looking for the likes of minfree/maxfree, system performance, data
blocks, etc. already have manuals for this stuff).

I've looked at docs.sun.com but the ata-dma enable is the only tip that
was mentioned. Thanks.
