Reconfiguring Hme on a Sun Ultra1

I've recently inherited an Ultra1 system thats configured to use an
ethernet tranceiver. Unfortunately I didn't inherit the tranceiver so what
I'd like to do is reconfigure the IDPROM/NVRAM to use the cat5 ethernet
port instead. Having spent the best part of the day trying to find out the
correct commands to do this to no avail I 'm hoping someone may be able to
help me.
