Q

Hello list:

here is a very short summary: no, I did not botch up the kernel, but I had

a superconducting short between the keyboard and the seat. there are too many

SysVR4 hosts around here, and it had been a very long time since I had

used a BSD like host. Yes, I wanted the user mn's processes. Since I knew the

kernel was there and the permits were right, I had to ask.

the mail: I will forward it. Yes, it is not right. Thanks for the hints, I

never look at my headers.

Here is one of the replies that did not recommend to boot immediately or

not to boot at all (which I think is right, booting would end up in the

debugger if there were no kernel at the usual place).
