audio files

Hi All,

Thanks to the following and the list in general for the ultra quick response

to my query about how to play audio files under Solaris:

The answer I was looking for was along the lines of the following:

/usr/bin/audioplay filename.au

audioplay filename.au

Then there was the everhelpful

See the man page on audioplay

I also received many suggestions along these lines

Note: You can always cat the file to /dev/audio

% cat filename.au > /dev/audio
