root has no shell!

I had to boot from Solaris cdrom and start the installation (my root partition
had become corrupted, preventing me from fscking and mounting on /a).
After entering the system setup info, when asked whether to begin install,
I chose to exit, allowing me to mount the boot dev and edit passwd file.
Thanks to all
