NIS and Password Ageing on Solaris

We have a requirement to implement Password Ageing on our various Solaris
2.6/2.7 servers that have NIS installed and configured.
Does anyone know of any means of implementing Password Ageing with NIS in
Solaris environment?
NIS+ may not be an option here.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
