RM6 with Raid 0

I searched through the summaries and didn't come up with anything specific
to this question.
I had a question about RM 6 and how it handles drive issues pertaining to
RAID 0...
If you have a RAID 0 LUN, and a disk is getting flakey - not failed - RM6
will continue to use this drive and be happy? Correct? In other words, the
drive is functioning but perhaps having block issues which is slowing
performance overall on the stripe.
However, is there a tunable option within RM6 to say something like after 3
retries of writing to a disk, fail this drive?
Also, to take it one step futher.... Veritas Cluster will not pick up on the
flakey drive as RM6 is not calling it a full error and failing the stripe
set. Is there another way to attack this issue in the bigger picture?
Will summarize and all that good stuff..
Thanks,
