printer question

Thanks for all the responses, especially Tim Evans and Malahat Qureshi.

I actually made my Solaris 8 server as the print server and used the name of

the printer and port # 9100 as the NETWORK PRINTER ACCESS NAME

lpadmin -p "printer-name" -o dest="printer-portname":9100 -o protocol=tcp -o

timeout=5
