Multiple Exclusions with flar with patch 109318-34

Trying to create some flar's with Solaris 8. I have a need to exclude about
30 directories.

I found a note on Sunsolve about a fix with 109318-34 for excluding multiple
directories with -x...

For some reason that isn't working for me. It still continues to include
them. Any suggestions?
