Hi all,

thanks to all that responded, especially to Joon Martin Hansen
<joonh at joonh.com> who clarified that /etc/default/login is only read by
csh, tcsh,... "Aaron Collosi" <acollosi at siteops.mfn.com> mentioned that
one has to edit /etc/default/su as well.

This works!
