root disk backup !!!

Hi all,

I have Veritas Volume manager installed on Solaris 8 and mirroring has not
been implemented for root disk. Please suggest a method to have backup of
entire root disk on a DDS tape. So, that incase of any disaster I should be
able to restore the data of root disk and then using "installboot" make the
disk bootable.
