Original Question
I have an E250 running 2.6 w recomended patches with a patched version of
disksuit
VERSION: 4.1-FCS,REV=6.0. This is a new system and I am playing buiding
raids/mirrors
breaking them and fixing again. I have 4 disks built with raid 5 and have
hot spare pool
attached to it with one equal disk. So I go in and pull one of the
disks in the raid ( they are hot swappable)
and the hot spare kicks in resyncs and all is happy. So now I try to fix
it and place the drive back
in the sytem and would like to activate the new drive and put the spare
back in the pool,
So I try a metareplace and the following error.

I figure I am replaceing the drive with the same one so this should work
... Then I try metareplace
with the hot spare and get the same thing...
