Error in solaris 8

Hi Gurus,

I am getting this error while creating a new user login and trying to
login - No utmpx entry you must exec "login" from the lowest level
"shell", OS ver Solaris 8 , in Enterprise v 220R .Pl send the possible
resolutions.
