NIS on Srv A and Autohome on Srv B

Thanks to the following Mgrs give me the answer. If someone can post

the impact and concern should be really good to me. Anyway the org.

question is

Is it possible to :

> 1) Setup Server A as an NIS master which includes passwd, groups,

> auto.home etc..

> 2) In Server B, there is a huge RAID disk.

> 3) In server A's auto.home, we create an entry say :

> joeuser serverB:/export/users1/joeuser

> Is it possible to do the above configuration so that all other

> clients bind on ServerA but has an autohome in Server B. What's

Answer :

Looks like standard practice to me. NIS server has no special relation

NFS server.
