Multiple Problems with my server/ Pl help/Urgent

(Thanks for all the replies I got )
However before I got the replies I was stupid to reboot the system.
The development team may have tried to make some changes in the /etc/vfstab file
They tried to make changes to /usr trying to allocate more space to it.
After the changes were made I tried to reboot the system
*************************************
I get the following errors
/sbin/rcS: /usr/sbin/devfsadm: not found
/sbin/rcS: /usr/binloadkeys: not found
/etc/rcS.d/S35svm. init: grep: notfound
warning: /proc could not be mounted
/sbin/swapadd: expr: notfound
/sbin/swapadd: swap: notfound
Warning - /usr/sbin/fsck not found
Mostlikely the mount of /usr filesystem failed or /usr filesystem is badly damaged .
The system is being halted.
Either reinstall the system or boot with the -b option in an attempt to recover.
Syncing file systems done
Program terminated
OK
**********************************
Now I try to boot from the bootbale CD but the CDROM drive is always open.I insert the CD and try to close it but it pops open again.
When I say boot CDROM the system says drive not ready.
I have a mirror disk for the boot disk but it gives the same error messages when I try to boot through it..
Is it advisable to use the boot CD.
Your replies are highy appreciated.
Thank you
