sendmail problem

I am sending mail from one of the solaris box an email ID. If I send a mail
today say May 8th 2003 .. I am receiving the mail on the same day, but the
mail I received has sent

date as 10th May 2003. I have checked the date in the solaris box , it is
today's date only.
Any idea what could be the problem?
