Both should work just fine. The INCORRECT DATE ON FILESYSTEM is

standard when doing an initial SunOS install; as soon as you get into

the suninstall program you can set it. Under SunOS, you boot from CDROM

to get to the prompt that you are mistaking for a single-user mode

(it is similar to single-user, but even more restricted than that), and

then run "suninstall" to actually install the OS.
