Capacity question

Been asked to investigate having to replace our existing E4500 servers (as
cheaply as possible).
One of them has 11x400 MHz CPUs, the other has 6x400.
How well would something like a pair of V480s with 4x900 CPUs fit into this?
Application is multiple Oracle instances, Solaris 8, storage is all on a
Netapp NAS server.
The existing 4500s never really max out across the CPUs - more likely a
single CPU gets maxed out servicing interrupts off the Gig Ethernet.
Any comments or advice most welcome :)
