A DVD RAM Drive and Solaris 2.8

drive in Solaris 2.8 .... I am really looking for a freeware solution ..
I am currently testing bakbone software Magna Vault which works well
but I have a few dozen of these to roll out and would prefer a freeware
solution. Also does anybody know it SUN plans to support DVD RAM drives
in solaris?
