I received two replies so far and they are both suggesting
that it is impossible to have a modem on a T1, at least if
you want HW handshaking. I've contacted Sun on this but haven't
received an answer yet so for now I'm going to assume it can't
be done. If I get any other information I will send an updated
summary.
