hostname's and shell/command tools

Thanks a lot guys for all the informative responses. Actually, I learned

more about shell scripting and terminal emulation that I cared to know

:) Nah, I'm just kidding. I will finalize this summary when I have

gotten a chance to test out the majority of the solutions. More than

likely I will probably modify my PS1 environ. variable. Or use csh's

ability to place various bits of info in your prompt. Until then . . .

So to anyone wanting to know how to do this, give me a few days to test

out best/good/poor ways to do this. Again, thanks!
