full file system message

My problem is about full file system. I checked why the system gets this
error, and I noticed that this / partition is at %100 capacity.
My question is about whether I delete the log file /var/cron/log. Becase the
size of this log file is 17Megabyte.
If I delete this file, does any bad things happen?
