Problems with 2.6 and PTI isp controller

The Main problem was I hadn't loaded the New driver software from Performance
Technologies, INC.

I have a Sun Ultra 1 UPA/SBus (UltraSPARC 167MHz) with a
PTI ISP controller, (ptisp0: Driver Version: 7.3.3.4U Firmware Version: v1.28).
When I tried to install 2.6 on the system I could probe-scsi the devices at
boot, BUT once the system was up, no system devices were made and the disks
where totally unknown to the system. Any hints?
We have been forced to revert back to 2.5 until we can access the data.
