Quikie on Automounter inactivity timeout setting

Hi Gurus

I need to set up the inactivity time for Automounted File systems to 1 hr
( or more as desired ) . Did changes to S74autofs ( included -t flag with
automountd ) .. but it doesnt seem to work that way ..

Need urgent pointers to this .. Are there any issues with keeping a big
inactivity time period with automounter ?
