sendmail/bad block problem

Hi guys:
We are having the following problem on our production mail server;

There are other blocks that have errors and there are other mail files that cannot be created cause they already exists. I already did a filesystem check on the above mentioned disk and it corrected all the errors. What is the problem? Your help will be deeply appreciated. Thanks
