A theoritical quest

Hey all,

I need to learn the fundamentals of LUNS & SCSI-ids.

I am pretty uncomfortable dealing with LUNS. Our company would be going for storage virtualization pretty soon.

Can anyone put me to right direction on this?

Any document, self explanation would be appreciated.
