A1000 configuration

I am in a process A1000 installation. While I want to
go for raid 5, my manager wants raid 0+1. We have 12 X
18Gb and he wants 3 LUN'S like
LUN0: 4 X 18gb =36gb
LUN1: 4 X 18gb =36gb
LUN2: 2 X 18gb =36gb
while remaining 2 as hotspares.
1) Is this possible just using raid manager (6.22)On
some mailing list I read that you need disksuite OR VM
for mirroring.
2) what will be use of hotspare drives if vm or
disksuite is doing mirroring?
