RAID Array Volume > 1TB: more details
2007-12-24 23:57:00
I got a couple of answers to my first email below
providing only some informatons about my problem.
Here are some more clarification on the RAID and the
host connected to it.
RAID system (about 1.2 TB) with an Infortrend IFT 7250 controller.
Host SUN E220R running Solaris 8.
(see output of format below)
2. c2t1d0 <IFT-IFT-7250-0221 cyl 23214 alt 2 hd 255 sec 65337>
/pci at 1f,4000/scsi at 2/sd at 1,0
The problem is that the format command for partioning the array show
only about 100 GB (see below)
Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks
0 root wm 0 - 0 7.94GB (1/0/0) 16660935
1 swap wu 1 - 1 7.94GB (1/0/0) 16660935
2 backup wu 0 - 12 104.85GB (13/50/29445) 219888450
3 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
4 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
5 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
6 usr wm 2 - 12 88.96GB (11/50/29445) 186566580
7 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
May be this helps to better understand my problems.
