SIGHUPPING the resolver

until today.
My original problem:
I had changed my /etc/resolv.conf to point to a different name
server and while nslookup now worked fine, the NIS things such as telnet
and ping still looked to the old name server, i.e. they didn't seem to
have seen the new info in the /etc/resolv.conf file.
Solution:
Kill and restart ypserv on the machines (only 1 in my case) that
are acting as NIS servers (they should be the only ones WITH ypserv's).
If you want immediate response, kill and restart ypbind on all machines,
but if you wait long enough (estimate ~ 5min) they will rebind to the new
server process on their own.
