vxdump error on backup

I'm having a problem with backing up my Veritas filesystems. I'm using a
Sun e250 running Solatir 8 and VXFS. I've been using hostdump.sh to backup
my servers. When I the backup gets to the VX filesystems I initially get
this message
vxfs vxdump: No group entry for operator.
But it continues to back up the filesystem. However when the script does
the vxrestore test I get the folloeing error:
UX:vxfs vxrestore: ERROR: cannot preserve extent attributes
Obviously I cannot trust this backup. Has anyone seen this and possibly
have a fix/workaround?
