Serial problem

I got a couple of replies, one suggesting I turn off RTS/CTS handling if I

was only using 2400 baud, another telling me that I need to replace my

hardware (I don't, this is a software problem), so I opened a ticket with

Sun and they replied that the X86 serial driver in 2.5.1 is flawed and

would require a major rewrite of a streams module to fix, and that they

were not interested in doing it.

I guess an upgrade to 2.6 is now a requirement.
