No Link Gigaswift in Ultra 10
2007-12-25 6:28:00
a brand new Gigaswift Quad (ce) card. However, I'm
not getting link. The OS sees the card. I can configure
them. The kstat(1M) is appended. However, no link
lights on the card or switch. The OS reports no link.
The switch reports no link. Another Sun with ce interfaces
and crossover cables reports no link. All of these links
worked with the previous qfe card.
The system is an Ultra 10 with Solaris 9. The ce is
in PCI 2. There is still a qfe in PCI 1. It still works
fine.
