I apologize for the long delay, I was out of the country....

Original question:

Is there a command which can be used within a script to duplicate

admintool GUI for creating user accounts.

I had a few replies. The best one was to use /usr/sbin/useradd,Sun's

bundled command-line account tool. useradd updates the /etc/passwd file

as well as /etc/shadow. However, the passwd command must be used to set

the initial user's password.
