No onboard CD-ROM on SunFire v210 will I be able to install the OS?

I currently have a Sun Fire v210 with no onboard CD or DVD rom. Is there away to install with a USB CD/DVD drive? I have tried several times and it cannot pick up the drive and help tips you guys can offer would be great.
