GBIC (Vixen) reliability problem?

I am looking into the GBIC reliability problem on the
photons (Fiber goes ONLINE/OFFLINE all the time)
I heard Sun has a FCO out to the field (FCO A0144-1)
already. Does anybody have a copy of the FCO, or bug
reports pertaining to this problem? Can I get the
replacemnt IBM GBIC modules to replace all the
defective Vixel modules even if I don't currently have
a maintenance contract thru Sun? Any input to this
would be greately appreciated. Thanx
