runaway dtsession errors

service points and there are lines of patrons at them. So I can't simply
take them down in the middle of the day. Furthermore, they seem to be
working fine.
However,
On my server console (E450 with Solaris 8) there are error messages
spinning by so fast I can't read them. The messages file has ballooned
to several hundred megabytes. This tells me it hasn't been going on for
a long time, because the rotated messages files are not this huge. When
I did a tail on the messages file to get a stop action of the flying
errors, I found the following, repeated several times a second:
Feb 3 12:19:29 amen-ra-01 dtsession[15745]: [ID401707 user.error]
open_module:
/usr/lib/security/pam_authtok_get.so.1 failed: ld.so.1:
/usr/dt/bin/dtsession:
fatal: sldaputil.so.5: version 'SUNWprivate_1.2' not found
(required by file /usr/lib/libsldap.so.1)
Feb 3 12:19:29 amen-ra-01 dtsession[15745]: [ID487707 user.error] load
modules:
can not open module /usr/lib/security/pam_authtok.get.so.1
meanwhile, dtsession is eating 40% or more of the available CPU.
I'm wondering if it might be related to having done patches recently and
not having rebooted yet.
I also did an install of the latest Java, but I didn't think that would
require rebooting or affect what I'm seeing here.
TIA
