Thank you for the replys. I haven't had time to try any of them yet. It

appears that there are several possibilites:

- PPS-1.0-P1, Connectivity Products: PC Integration SolarNet PC Protocol

  Services 1.0 from SunSoft

- SunPC from SunSoft

- SoftNet Client from Puzzle Systems Corporation

Dave Fetrow suggested checking http://www.novell.com, which I havn't done yet.

Thanks for the help. Detailed responses follow:

I have just ordered that you are asking for,

PPS-1.0-P1 Connectivity Products: PC Integration SolarNet PC

                Protocol Services 1.0

it runs on Solaris.

The prices I have is only in Swedish currency but should be around $650.

Sun used to make a netware sunlink product that was a server. I'm not

sure if it had client functionality too. I'm also not sure if it is

still available.

On the other hand, if you only need occasional access, I'd recommend

getting SunPC, the SoftPC clone that emulates a PC. It supports IPX

and you can bring it up whenever you need to access those files. Once

the files are copied to a local UNIX disk, you can shut down SunPC

if you don't want it.

Software only SunPC is pretty cheap, too. You wouldn't need the

SBus accelerators for this simple function.
