Migration of NetApps storage

We need to migrate LUNs of NetApp (The LUNs have data) from V480 to a domain
on F15K with OS Solaris 8. The team which I'm working with believes that we
can remove the fiber channels from the v480 and connect it to the F15k and
rezone on the NetApp so that the F15k domain sees the LUNs. I'd appreciate if
you can share with me your comments/views on whether the migration is
possible, if yes, what are the precautions that I should take. Please let me
know if I need to provide any further information.
