UPDATED SS10 and Null Modem Cable Problem

2007-12-25 11:37:00

Managers,

I have received countless emails from countless people after I sent out

the first summary. Most noticed that I was using a DB25-DB9 cable,

which I thought was a null modem cable because they had pin 2 and 3

reversed. After reading the emails, the consensus was that I did NOT

have a null modem cable. Pins 2 and 3 were not supposed to be crossed.

So I bought a null modem adapter and pow! it worked like a charm. I

thank you so much managers for being so damn smart! =]
