Total memory

Well, I thought it would be quick and simple - I take a quick lunch break

and Casper Dik (of course...who else?) comes back with the answer:

Original question: why does the "used+available" total from "swap -s" vary.

Answer: because virtual memory varies!

In Casper's own words...

> The total amount of virtual memory isn't constant.
