Maximum Broadcast Rates
2007-12-24 22:09:00
I was wondering if someone could shed some light on a bit of a problem I've
got. I am interested in knowing the maximum fast-ethernet interface input
and output broadcast rates for Solaris 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8, in addition, are
there any kernel tuneables you are aware of for viewing and/or tweaking this
value?
Does the rate vary from machine to machine? I am predominantly interested in
E450's, although Ultra 10's are used quite a bit.
Does a 'vanilla' install of Solaris have a different rate to one that has
been tweaked? (with YASSP for example)
Any help would be most appreciated.
regards,
Matt.
