Well, it turned out that there were a few products available, namely:

TotalNet LM-Server from Syntax

? from UniPress Software

I also received a reply about something called 'SoftWindows' from

Insignia Solutions (SoftPC?), however I'm not sure if that's exactly what I asked for.

A couple of replies indicated that SunNet Manager also could provide some services.

LM-Server from Syntax got most of the votes and is available now. (Don't know for

sure for Solaris 2.x)

The unnamed (?) product from UniPress is in a beta test on OS 4.1.3 and they

expect to begin beta testing the Solaris version within the next few months.
