Traceroute Problem

I am running Solaris 2.5 on sparc workstation. My problem is that whenever
I use traceroute program login as root is works fine but when I try to use
it login as general user it gives following error message .......
traceroute: Warning: ckecksums disabled traceroute: icmp socket:
Permission denied
Is there any way out ?
I get overwhelming response, almost everybody giving the same answer :-
In order to give normal user access to traceroute turn on the setuid bit,
chmod u+s traceroute
It worked....
