Solaris 8 Install Question

I am building a Solaris 8 box.... loaded the Solaris 10/00 release and later
loaded the MU 4 downloaded from the Net (4/01). My question:
- After the above steps, will my box be equivalent to having installed the
Solaris 4/01 release?
- Do I need to still apply the 8_Recommended Patches found on the BigAdmin
web site even if I have already applied the MU?
It's just that I can't access the "net from my end currently and do need a
rather quick answer. Thanks.
And a quick one -- any of you have Solaris 8 servers running on Sbus
JNI-FC64-1063's successfully? Just would like to know if there are issues
with certain connections (ie. arrays, siwtches...etc.) that are still buggy.
