Laser Printer Not Responding

Both set me on the right track by suggesting that something might
be wrong with the serial interface communications. I hardly started
checking when I noticed that someone had set the printer interface
switch to AppleTalk (arghhh...). I flipped it back to 9600 baud
serial, and everything worked fine.
What's ironic is that Mic (hi Mic!) is right in my own backyard!
