Changing ip address

2007-12-24 19:52:00

I am trying to change the ip address of a Solaris box. It is
a total change, including the network part of the address.

I have changed the following files:

/etc/hosts - changed the IP address of the host
/etc/gateways - changed the IP address network and the gateway host
/etc/resolv.conf - changed the domain name and nameserver addressses
/etc/netmasks - added a netmask (255.255.255.0) for the new network

Prior to the change, I can ping the new gateway and can ping the Solaris
box from other nodes.

When I reboot the system with these changes, I cannot ping the new gateway
nor can I ping the system from other nodes.

Is there another file that I need to change?
