settings to be done on Sun and Nt machines for DNS forwarding

Can anyone give more details on configuration info for doing DNS forwarding
between a Unix solaris 2.7/2.8 machine and Windows-Nt 4 machine.

Want info regarding what conf files need to changed on both machines
