FiestaGuru's,
I am looking for the best way to copy a whole servers data to another server
over the network, for example , if I want to copy or backup the /var
partition to another server on the same network that has free space. My
question is that what is the best copy command to use , is it cp -r ,
ufsdump , pax .
I have tried to use ufsdump writing to a tape on another server on the
network and it is working fine , as follows :
ufsdump 0cful 192.168.1.10:/dev/rmt/0 /var
but now I need to do it on another server ?!!!
Appreciate if someone can help me in that.
