Memory Address not Aligned

hello all,
we have a problem in Ultra 5 machine...the system
not responding after 4hrs.....there is no reply in
display ...we can able to do only hardward reset..
we got the error messages like "Memory Address not
Aligned"....
machine: Ultra5
anybody able to explain?
